The Manhattan Platform Bed delivers a feeling of being in a cottage on the beach with its gorgeous tongue and groove head and footboards and matching Case Goods. Choose from four finishes to make it fit to your style. The Manhattan has an adjustable height design which allows you to use with or with out a foundation, and may accept underbed storage drawers or trundle bed. The metal hook and rail system makes this impressive piece strong and reliable.

Slat Kits

All of Atlantic's platform beds, bunk beds and captain's beds feature a 14 piece slat kit. Attaching to the side rails the slat kit serves to both support a mattress and/or foundation as well as further strengthen the bed. The adjustable height center support system provides years of worry free use.

Our innovative slat kit provides the perfect base for your mattress. The open design allows air circulation for added comfort. When using a memory foam or latex mattress, a foundation or second slat kit is recommended.

The two center support legs attach securely with dowels and bolts. Use the short leg with a mattress and foundation - use the long leg with a mattress and storage drawers. The center supports are designed to hang just off the floor when there is no weight on the bed. This allows you to move the bed without damaging your floor or the slat support system.
